Back again to talk about our favorite devices and their apps
Hello again, World, we are back after a huge break. It’s been 9 years since we first started deplugged.com as a community around mobile devices. Much has changed in the mobile landscape since then. One of our favorite changes is the fundamental shift of focus from features in phones, to apps. Apps today define everything the phone can do. ‘The Apps maketh the Phone’ is how i’d like to define the current scheme of things.
So we have decided to come back and explore the world of mobile apps on deplugged.com and we are starting off with focusing on our favorite mobile platform – iOS. Since Apple has nearly single handedly caused the recent mobile app revolution, and since it currently has the most mature app market by far, we have decided to concentrate our efforts first into the iPhone, iPad and the iPod.
Stay tuned, we are gonna do a lot of cool stuff on this site!
